Maryhill Estate
From then to now...
The estate dates back to 1867 when County Judge August Anderberg built the Mariehild building, named after his beloved wife. In 1883, the park and building were expanded, and the estate was renamed Maryhill. The castle itself is a baroque castle built between 1914 and 1918. Over the years, the estate has had various owners, hosted royal visits, and even served as a sanctuary for refugees during World War II.
ESS Group is investing a total of approximately 200 million in renovation and new construction to create a unique destination for private gatherings, business meetings, and a multitude of exciting events in both the park and the castle. The social pulse will be high, blending history with romance and a modern touch. The service will reflect the feeling of coming home to a close friend. It will be joyful and personal. With a relaxed attitude where we are knowledgeable and prepared, we will create a warm, curious atmosphere.
Maryhill Estate will become a resort filled with a "C'est la vie" feeling for all you vacation seekers, business travelers, and daydreamers.
