Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you are an important part of the team at Fýri Resort. Together with the Restaurant Manager, you help ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and that our guests feel genuinely welcome.
The role combines daily operations, team leadership, and guest contact. You will be present on the floor, support your colleagues, and contribute to a calm, well-functioning service in a unique mountain setting.
Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and planning
Ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience
Lead and support the team, including onboarding and training new colleagues
Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and reception to maintain a natural flow of service
Follow up on quality, hygiene, and safety routines
Meet guests with presence and professionalism, and handle feedback in a constructive way
Assist with ordering, inventory, and cost awareness
Contribute to the ongoing development of menus and guest experiences

Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Fluent in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus
Strong hospitality mindset with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction
Solid knowledge of wine and beverage service
Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Capable of working independently while also being a strong team player
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Employment Terms
Full-time (100%) seasonal position, with the possibility of a permanent role
Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends
Start date: May/June 2026
