About the Role – Pizza Chef Opportunity at Fyri Resort

We are searching for a creative and driven Pizza Chef to join our passionate culinary team at Fyri Resort. You will be a central part of the kitchen, preparing delicious wood-fired pizzas with high-quality ingredients, ensuring our guests always receive a memorable dining experience in Hemsedal’s spectacular mountain setting. Main Responsibilities – Pizza Chef Job Duties

• Prepare, bake, and present high-quality pizzas with consistency and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
• Coordinate and communicate efficiently with the front-of-house team for seamless service
• Contribute to menu development and product innovation—bring your own ideas and creativity!
• Follow daily prep lists, control stock, and minimize food waste
• Provide a warm, professional presence in the kitchen, supporting a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualities & Experience – Pizza Chef Requirements

• Previous experience preparing pizzas in a professional kitchen, or strong enthusiasm and willingness to learn pizza techniques
• Understanding of dough handling, sauce preparation, and topping combinations
• Excellent teamwork skills—supportive, friendly, and able to adapt during busy service
• Knowledge of food safety principles and attention to cleanliness
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages such as Scandinavian is a big plus
