We are now looking for a structured and service-oriented Booking & Reception Coordinator for our hotel Fyri Resort in Hemsedal!
In this role, you will combine administration with guest contact and play a key role in coordinating bookings and bus groups – from initial contact to departure. During lower season periods and when operationally needed, you will also be an important part of the reception team, contributing directly to the daily guest experience.
Your responsibilities:
- Handle and administer bookings via telephone, email and booking systems – primarily for incoming enquiries from private guests.
- Tailor booking solutions for individuals, groups and coach trips.
- Ensure seamless information flow and collaboration between VisBook, restaurants, Guest Service and all teams in the hotel.
- Be responsible for planning and coordinating the arrival and departure of coach groups, including room allocation and special requests.
- Work closely with reception, restaurant and housekeeping to ensure an efficient flow and a high-quality overall experience for the guest.
- Support daily reception operations during lower seasons and when needed, including:
- Check-in and check-out of guests
- Handling guest enquiries, payments and general front desk service
- Providing information about the hotel, activities and the local area
- Ensuring professional, warm and efficient guest service at all times
We are looking for someone who:
- Wants to create unforgettable experiences and loves building relationships with people.
- Has a personality, passion, professionalism and playful nature that guests will remember and talk about after their stay.
- Has experience from a similar role in a hotel, reception or booking department.
- Is structured, solution-oriented and enjoys juggling many tasks at once.
- Has very good communication skills in Norwegian, Swedish and English (Norwegian is an advantage).
- Is computer literate and preferably has experience of booking systems (VisBook is an advantage).
- Enjoys a role where service, cooperation and responsibility are the focus.
- Is flexible and thrives in a dynamic role combining administration and front-line guest service.
