We are now looking for a new Salesperson—or as we call it, a Business Opportunity Manager (BOM). A genuine, passionate individual motivated not only by business but also by building and nurturing long-term customer relationships and selling memorable experiences—ideally with a playful personality that inspires.

What does a Business Opportunity Manager at Maryhill Estate do?
As a BOM, you hold overall responsibility for developing and managing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Your focus will be on selling large and complex Meetings & Events. You will spend significant time engaging with customers through tours, meetings, and calls—to create business and strengthen our long-term client relationships. You will also participate in hosting client events, representing us at trade shows, and actively working with social selling on platforms such as LinkedIn.
Your responsibilities will include:
Increasing sales and new client acquisition within the Danish market, encouraging both existing and potential clients to choose our destinations for their meetings and events.
Owning the sales process from needs analysis to proposal and signed contract—with a strong focus on matching the deal to both the customer’s and Maryhill Estate’s best interests.
Selling large and complex deals and ensuring their success.
Managing and developing a client portfolio to drive growth.
Working towards ambitious targets and being motivated by achieving and exceeding these goals.
Being creative, flexible, and always ready to go the extra mile for our clients.
Building long-term relationships and creating loyal customers.
The role involves considerable travel within the Öresund region and Denmark. You will join a team alongside another BOM colleague and report to Emelie Lööf, Sales Manager.
You will also be part of a dynamic team within ESS Sales, collaborating with other sales colleagues.

You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Desirable qualifications:
Established network within business circles in Skåne/Copenhagen/Öresund region
Previous experience in the hotel or event industry.
Partial or fluent proficiency in Danish.
Experience working B2B in Denmark.

About the position:
Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probation period.
Start date and salary: Salary according to agreement and start date as agreed.
